Assistant Venue Manager – Sports & Hospitality Venue ???? Ashmore, Gold Coast ???? $70,000 – $80,000 + Super We are looking for a mature, energetic and customer-focused Assistant Venue Manager to join our growing sports and entertainment hospitality business on the Gold Coast. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone passionate about sport, hospitality and creating a fun, engaging customer experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the venue while developing toward a future Venue Manager position. About the Role You’ll be responsible for helping oversee venue operations including:
- Running and managing our social sports competitions and leagues 3 nights per week
- Delivering exceptional customer service and member experiences
- Operating the bar and kitchen during trade periods
- Cooking and serving food
- Preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
- Cash handling and venue reconciliation
- Assisting with staff leadership and operational management
- Using technology-based systems within a up-to-date entertainment venue
- Supporting business growth through promotions, competitions and in-house business drivers About You We are seeking someone who is:

- Minimum 5 years hospitality or venue management experience
- Experience running sporting competitions, leagues or community sport programs highly regarded
- Previous bar, kitchen or entertainment venue experience preferred
