About the role
We are seeking a committed and dependable Landscape Yard Support to join our team at Steve Jones Hardware and Landscaper Super Centre in Everton Hills, QLD. This full-time role is essential in supporting the smooth operations of our landscaping and gardening supplies yard and will play a key part in ensuring our customers receive excellent service.
What you'll be doing Assisting customers by retrieving, loading, and unloading landscaping and gardening materials and equipment Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked yard area Performing basic yard maintenance tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, and minor repairs Ensuring all safety protocols are followed in the yard Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service Supporting the landscaping and gardening team as needed
What we're looking for Must have Front loader ticket and Forklift licence Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a hardware, landscaping, or gardening setting Strong problem-solving and communication skills Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a tidy and organised work area A passion for providing outstanding customer service The physical capability to lift and move heavy landscaping materials and equipment
