Collection/Delivery Driver (Rosehill)

Applicants who do not reside in the Sydney Metropolitan Area, NSW, Australia should not apply. ABOUT US Can Club is Australia’s fastest growing 10c container recycling bin service. We provide free bins to homeowners to make it easier for them to collect their 10c containers. Once full, they book a swap out using our app. We collect their bin and swap it for a clean empty one for a small service fee. ROLE We are looking for contract drivers to provide provide a caring and professional level of service, representing our business with a smile, service reliability, professionalism and consistency that ensures the service we provide remains the most convenient option for our clients. - no loose or bagged collections) and utilises the latest smart phone app technology. We will provide training and a full induction into our safety systems. WHAT WE OFFER
- $650 Sign Up Bonus (conditions apply).
- We provide a late model, small truck (car licence), fully insured and maintained.
- You take the vehicle home.
- Minimum 5 daily weekday runs.
- Additional weekend runs occassionaly avaiable.
- Set start times (6:30am).
- Start and finish from home.
- All work is permanent runs in Sydney Metro area.
- All local areas and work focused on 1 area per run.
- Collecting from and delivering to residential locations.
- 90% unattended collections or deliveries. Collect from and deliver to the front door or side of house.
- 100% of customers have pre-authorised an authority to collect/leave.
- Vast majority of stops are repeat customers.
- No money handling as 100% of customers have pre-paid.

- Full induction and training. MINIMUM CRITERIA
- Have or are will to obtain an ACN.
- Have a legal right to work in Australia.
- Aged 25 years or over (insurance requirement).
- Weigh less than 120kg to meet our van driver protected working load limit.
- Physically fit (repeated walking, and manoeuvring of bins weighing between 12kg and 16kg.
- Current full NSW driver’s licence (not provisional licence), held for at least 2 years (after expiry of provisional licence).
- A total of less than 5 demerit points (meaning you have at least 8 points remaining).
- A minimum of 6 months experience of, multi-stop, van/truck delivery driving experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Good English reading, writing and comprehension skills.
- Experience with using smartphone apps such as Phone, SMS, Google Maps.
- Accuracy, reliability & trustworthiness.
- A neat, clean, and professional appearance.

- A minimum of 6 months experience driving a 2 TONNE VAN or larger vehicle regularly for work purposes. We’re seeking an outstanding individual to perform collections and deliveries with a level of consistency, reliability, professionalism and good old-fashioned customer service that ensures that the service we provide is, and remains, more convenient for our clients than their alternative choices.
