Retail Manager (Auburn)

**About the Business**

Sambandha Restaurant is a well-established casual dining restaurant located in Auburn, NSW, offering quality food and customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to manage daily operations and lead our team to deliver excellent customer experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, organise, and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant
- Recruit, train, supervise, and manage front-of-house staff
- Develop and implement sales and customer service strategies
- Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and analyse sales performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health & safety, and company policies
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
- Prepare staff rosters and manage labour costs
- Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Minimum **2 years’ relevant experience** as a Retail Manager or in a similar hospitality management role
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Sound understanding of retail/hospitality operations and inventory management
- Ability to work **flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays**

**Qualifications**
- Relevant qualification in Retail Management, Hospitality Management, or Business (Certificate IV, Diploma, or higher) is preferred but not essential if supported by substantial relevant experience.
