**About Our Service**: ILO means JOY! ILO Schools Ballan, inspired by the Finnish early childhood education model, offers a warm, play-based approach, fostering curiosity and creativity in children from 6 months to 5 years. At ILO Schools Ballan we believe that freedom of exploration and play are crucial to children’s development. We promote children’s curiosity, creativity and proactivity through daily routines and special events.

You have the opportunity to move between services also including that of Ballarat Central if desired.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children
- Design and implement play-based learning activities that align with HEI Schools’ curriculum
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Communicate effectively with parents, fostering a positive community relationship
- Work collaboratively with a passionate team of educators to provide exceptional care

**What We’re Looking For**:

- CertIII/ Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification)
- A valid Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and a passion for early years education
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, friendly personality
