Area Manager (Bairnsdale)

About the Role We are looking for our next Area Manager to lead the branch network across the region of Gippsland in Victoria. This full‑time, permanent position would suit a dynamic and experienced sales leader with a strong commercial agribusiness understanding who values innovation and developing people. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated and passionate team, driving sales performance, and delivering growth and efficiency outcomes within the area. Responsibilities
- Lead and support Branch Managers to deliver on business priorities and elevate team performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to provide personalized recommendations that strengthen the growth of their businesses
- Communicate clear direction, strategy, goals and expectations, developing an inclusive, positive team culture
- Contribute to and implement Elders operational plans within the State and Area to guide and ensure delivery of the overall business strategy
- Cultivate current sales opportunities to strengthen Elders’ presence
- Actively participate in strategy and planning for the area and state
- Prioritize the safety of your staff and clients, and actively contribute to Elders’ zero-harm culture About You
- Experienced leader with in-depth knowledge of the agricultural industry (minimum 10 years’ experience), including product and sales management
- Can effectively lead and motivate a diverse team, driving the achievement of annual sales and earnings targets
- Thrive in a collaborative and agile working environment
- Resourceful, forward‑thinking and passionate about creating meaningful change for clients and communities
- Understand that people are our most important asset
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and cultivate lasting client relationships
