Control Room Operator – Night Shift (4 on / 4 off)

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Control Room Operator to support and enhance our operational team. This is a key role that ensures our overnight operations run safely, efficiently and without interruption.

If you have experience in logistics, distribution or linehaul—particularly within the FMCG sector—you’ll thrive in this rapid‑paced, high‑responsibility setting.

About the Role

As a Control Room Operator, you will monitor and manage critical operational functions across our network. Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring loaded fridge vans and cool rooms are operating at correct temperatures

Communicating with drivers and customers

Escalating issues to key stakeholders when required

You’ll be supported by the latest remote‑monitoring technology and receive comprehensive on‑the‑job training from experienced Control Room Operators.

Roster & Hours

Four days on / four days off

10:00pm – 6:00am

Nightly work with a consistent rotating schedule

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who brings:

Excellent time management and communication

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to initiate corrective actions

Robust interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels

A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
