About the Role As the Library Program Officer, you will deliver inclusive and engaging library programmes while providing high‑quality frontline services. Working closely with the library programmes team, you will support day‑to‑day operations, promote services, and help meet the diverse learning and participation needs of the community. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and evaluate inclusive library programmes and activities for a wide range of community groups
- Promote library programmes and services to increase participation and community awareness
- Work collaboratively with community organisations to identify and respond to local needs
- Provide high‑quality frontline customer service, including circulation, enquiries and basic reference support
- Support day‑to‑day library operations, systems and presentation of public spaces What We're Looking For
- Highly customer‑focused, with a genuine enthusiasm for library programmes for people of all ages and abilities
- Experience delivering or supporting inclusive programmes, activities or services for diverse community groups
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage participants and build positive relationships
- Confident using computer systems and willing to learn current technologies to support library services
- Initiative‑driven, adaptable and able to work effectively in a busy, public‑facing environment Benefits
