As both the manufacturer and marketer of high-quality treatment tables, our client, is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our dynamic team in Ballarat as a Purchasing and Procurement Officer, to ensure the smooth flow of production by maintaining optimal manufacturing stock levels.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**: Coordinate and execute procurement activities for the manufacturing process, ensuring on-time purchase order placement

Liaise with Sales, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and internal staff to facilitate seamless communication and workflow

Cultivate solid relationships with external suppliers and vendors to ensure continuous supply agreements

Lead inventory improvements through MRP software (Ostendo) to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Support the Manufacturing Manager in day-to-day tasks, including entering new sales orders, closing assembly orders, and maintaining production planning.

Check inwards goods against order and quality requirements

**To be successful in this role, you will have**: Familiarity with MRP systems, with knowledge of Ostendo being advantageous

Understanding of ISO9001 and ISO13485 is desirable

Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes, including Bills of Material and Production Planning

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Familiarity with engineering drawings

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
