We are seeking a Woodwork/Metalwork Teacher to join the Technology Learning area, teaching across years 7‐12.

The role includes planning and teaching practical and theoretical lessons in a safe workshop environment, supporting student projects, and contributing to curriculum development within the Technology department.

Qualifications

Relevant teaching qualifications with specialisation in Design and Technology, Woodwork and/or Metalwork.

Solid knowledge of workshop safety rules, secure use of equipment and risk management.

Strong knowledge of contemporary, data‐informed teaching practices.

The ability to create engaging, inclusive and well‐managed learning environments.

A capacity to build positive and respectful relationships with students, families and colleagues.

A commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, grounded in the Mercy tradition.

A commitment to ongoing qualified learning and collaborative practice.
