About the Role
This sales‐focused role drives revenue and efficiency by securing backload freight, reducing empty runs and building solid customer relationships across the transport network.
Key Responsibilities
Source and secure bulk backload freight across key routes
Build and maintain relationships with customers across agriculture and transport sectors
Negotiate transport rates to achieve commercial outcomes
Manage a pipeline of leads, quotes and confirmed work
Coordinate with our scheduler to match freight with available trucksDevelop repeat business and long‐term customer relationships
About You
You are proactive, confident and comfortable engaging with recent and existing customers to generate opportunities.
You Will Bring
Previous experience in transport, logistics or freight sales, preferred
Existing networks within agriculture, freight or regional industries, advantageous
A results‐driven approach and confidence initiating conversations
Solid relationship‐building and communication skills
Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
