**Your Role**: Based at Maranoa Centre, Alstonville we are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Property Team Leader to join our Property team on a permanent full-time basis.

As the Property and Maintenance Team Leader, you will be a key member of our site leadership team. In collaboration with the Area Manager and Site Manager, you lead and direct the maintenance team, ensuring quality property support and maintenance services to all customers, ensuring BaptistCare assets are maintained to the highest standard. You will lead and direct the maintenance team to provide high-quality property support and maintenance services.

This diverse hands-on leadership role requires a proactive approach to the maintenance and involves the general upkeep of the buildings plant & equipment, furniture fittings, gardens, lawns and carparks, as well as liaising with, and supervision of, contractors, tradespersons and suppliers as required.

**About You**:

- Relevant Advanced Trade Qualification.
- Previous property maintenance experience, ideally in a multiple dwelling environment.
- Experience managing/supervising contractor and/or staff
- Valid driver’s licence
- Well-developed communication skills
- Excellent time management skills including the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Excellent problem solving skills as well as technical knowledge to fault find
- Good understanding of Work, Health and Safety practice
- Sound computer literacy skills
- Passion for helping others, supporting the elderly and making a positive impact
- Genuine alignment to the organisations values.
