Location 41 Bruxner Highway, Ballina 2478 Work Type Full time, 38 hours per week Salary $78,000 Qualifications & Experience AQF Diploma and minimum one year of relevant work experience or at least three years of experience if no formal qualifications. Responsibilities
- Sales and guest count analysis and weekly/monthly report summaries sharing KPIs and tracking with the executive manager, owner.
- Hiring and training current employees to service areas of the business that best meet sales volumes and customer demands, designing training plans and checking in on progress.
- Planning and executing crew schedules based on careful analysis of sales patterns and crew proficiencies in all areas of the business including kitchen, drive‑thru, cafe, front counter, etc.
- Setting and monitoring sales projections taking into consideration promotions, weather, competitive activity, etc., and adjusting rosters accordingly.
- Marketing/communications promotions activating McDonald’s in‑store promotions and local area marketing initiatives, e.g., McHappy Day.
- Identifying varying customer requirements and developing innovative solutions to meet their needs.
- Ensuring a customer‑obsessed mindset through the management team and crew via effective training, rewards and appraisals.
- Verifying that daily, weekly, and monthly food‑safety minimums are met to ensure customer safety.
- Labour‑analysis and planning: daily, weekly, monthly tracking of average hourly rate, sales per crew hour, etc., to ensure the right crew for sales patterns while staying in budget.
- People‑compliance management such as breaks and all child‑labour responsibilities in line with state legislation.
- Ensuring staff work in a secure manner and in accordance with McDonald’s policies and procedures.
- Checking and planning inventory to ensure the right product mix and volumes meet local customer demands.
- Reporting on inventory controls and costs.
- Maintaining facilities with a focus on customer areas to ensure the best possible customer experience.
- Quality assurance of products to maintain the gold standard of food and beverage production, involving crew training and equipment maintenance.
- Customer service review responses: reviewing the online customer‑service portal, responding to customers, and resolving issues.
- Representing the organization at official occasions, conventions, seminars.
