ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are offering an exciting prospect for a recent (or near) engineering graduate to kick‑start their career in local government. In this graduate role, you’ll be part of a forward‑thinking team working on a range of development and infrastructure projects that directly impact the liveability and sustainability of our region.
A key responsibility of the position is to provide a high level of support to the manager in ensuring the section’s goals and objectives are achieved.
To be successful you will bring
Behaviour that positively demonstrates Council’s values of: creative, accessible, respect, energetic and safe.
Recent or substantial completion of tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Proven digital literacy with competence in Microsoft 365, namely Outlook, Word and Excel.
Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team that has a focus on delivering quality customer service within set timeframes.
The rewards
An annual salary range of $70,800 to $91,600 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
