- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and financial statements.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting function. Profile A successful Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with accounting standards and tax regulations in Australia.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
