Financial Planning and Analysis Manager Opportunity (Canterbury)

Ekera Dental is a growing national dental group with 55 practices across Australia. We're seeking an experienced FP&A; Manager to establish and lead our Financial Planning & Analysis function, driving financial performance, reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence across the organisation. Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created role offers a rare opportunity to build the FP&A; capability from the ground up and play a key role in shaping the financial and operational performance of the business. Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the FP&A; function across the group
- Own the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Develop and deliver management reporting, KPI dashboards, and performance insights
- Build Power BI reporting and business intelligence capabilities using operational and financial data
- Partner with operational leaders to improve business performance and drive data-informed decision-making
- Support strategic initiatives including acquisitions, business cases, capital investments, and profitability analysis
- Develop financial models, scenario planning, and variance analysis to support executive decision-making About You
- CA, CPA or CIMA qualified
- 5+ years' experience in FP&A;, commercial finance, or business partnering
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modelling skills
- Experience with Power BI and business intelligence tools
- Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience in multi-site, healthcare, retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or similar environments highly regarded Why Join Us?
