- Develop and execute strategic account plans for small to medium enterprise customers within the battery recycling value chain.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new revenue opportunities across lithium‑ion battery recycling, EV, ESS, and industrial energy sectors.
- Lead negotiations for commercial agreements, including pricing structures, service contracts, and medium‑to‑long‑term recycling supply arrangements.
- Drive profitable growth by managing revenue performance, margin optimisation, and cost‑to‑serve outcomes across assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, integrators, and recycling partners, ensuring long‑term customer retention and satisfaction.
- Represent the client at industry events, site visits, and customer engagements to strengthen market presence and brand credibility.
- Conduct ongoing market analysis covering industry trends, competitor activity, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies within EV and energy storage markets.
- Maintain an accurate and forward‑looking commercial pipeline, including opportunity qualification, forecasting, and revenue tracking.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams across operations, engineering, logistics, and quality & compliance to ensure successful execution of customer contracts.
- Ensure all commercial activities align with their safety, environmental, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.
- Maintain disciplined CRM usage, ensuring accurate data, reporting, and performance insights across all opportunities.
- Travel domestically to engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders as needed. The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, or commercial roles within battery recycling, renewables, energy storage, resources, or industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated success negotiating commercial agreements and managing complex customer relationships.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with a focus on revenue growth, profitability, and long‑term value creation.
- Ability to communicate technical and operational concepts in a clear, customer‑focused manner.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted long‑term partnerships.
- Data‑driven approach to opportunity qualification, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Strong organisational, reporting, and CRM discipline.
