Retail Store Manager – Full Time (Riverwood)

We operate in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment where robust leadership, sales performance, and exceptional customer service are at the heart of everything we do. The Role We are looking for an experienced and driven Retail Manager to take ownership of our Riverwood store. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing a dedicated team, and ensuring the store operates smoothly and profitably on a day-to-day basis. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise, train, and inspire retail staff to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training.
- Coordinate staff rostering and conduct regular performance reviews. Sales & Financial Management
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Set, monitor, and achieve store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage store financial performance, including profit and loss (P&L;), budgeting, and cost control. Store Operations & Inventory
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage inventory control, stock ordering, and stocktake processes.
- Liaise closely with suppliers to ensure timely stock availability and manage promotional activities.
- Implement loss prevention and strict store security procedures. Customer Experience & Compliance
- Champion a culture of high-standard customer service and professionally resolve escalated customer issues.
- Maintain impeccable store presentation and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) and company policies. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience: At least 2–3 years of proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
- Leadership: Strong communication skills with a track record of motivating and leading a team to success.
- Operational Skills: The proven ability to efficiently manage store operations, inventory, and staff.
- Results-Driven: A demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.
