Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking an experienced Inclusion Support Educator (ISS) to join our Yagoona Service. About the Role
As an Inclusion Support Early Childhood Educator, you will play an significant role in supporting the inclusion of all children, including those with additional needs, within our early learning environments. You will work collaboratively with educators and families to create supportive, engaging, and equitable learning opportunities where every child feels valued and can thrive. As a service, compliance and child safety remain our highest priority, and you will be expected to uphold our child-safe practices in all aspects of your role. This role is a fixed-term contract Monday- Friday 5 hours per day. Responsibilities
Work with educators, families, and specialists to implement individualised support plans for children with additional needs.
- Provide guidance and support to educators in adopting inclusive practices, ensuring all children can engage meaningfully in the learning environment.
- Assist in sourcing and utilising specialist equipment and resources to facilitate inclusion, in line with the Inclusion Support Program guidelines.
- Promote understanding and awareness of inclusion within the broader community, advocating for the rights and needs of all children. About You
- Demonstrated experience in supporting children with additional needs.
- Hold an ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (Preferred) or Certificate III in Education Support.
- Current First Aid training and CPR Certificate.
- Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
- Knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
