Electrical Engineering Technician (Chullora)

Responsibilities and duties Conducts tests of electrical systems, assembles and installs electrical facilities by performing the following duties: 1. Reading and interpreting plans and specifications, determining the correct sequences, methods and costs. 2. Building, testing, installing, troubleshooting and repairing developmental and production electronic circuitry and devices 3. Providing assistance to Electrical Engineer, to in electrical installation and circuitry design and layout 4. Inspecting electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes 5. Analyzing and calculating corrections for equipment installation practices to maximize efficiency, enhance installation schedules and reduce costs 6. Repairing , modifying and replacing all facility and electrical components. 7. Documenting processes and maintaining electrical service records. 8. Participating in and provide support for team initiatives in the areas of Safety, Quality and Productivity. Qualifications and employment experience
- Diploma degree is required, or 3 years relevant working experiences
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge of Electrical Engineering Technician
- Robust knowledge working with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC systems
- Experience with other PLC systems such as Siemens and Omron
- Experience working on HMI screens
- Experience in instrumentation and variable speed drives (VSD's)
- PLC programming (especially in Siemens)
- SCADA/HMI Programming (especially Ignition)
