Job Title Become a full-time, permanent NRMA Driving Instructor and make a lasting impact on road safety within your community. You’ll teach the real meaning of independent driving by delivering tailored lessons based on the NRMA Driver Training Curriculum whilst developing your skills within the industry to deliver the NSW Safer Drivers Course, become an Older Driver Assessor and to be an authorised trainer for our dynamic Corporate Driver Training program. - Hours: Guaranteed 38 hours per week
- Availability: Must be able to do a roster Monday – Sunday, between 7am – 8pm
- Roster: Shifts are based on customer demand, with a focus on weekend and before and after school hours Essential qualifications and skills To deliver these services to our customers, we are looking for employees with the following qualifications, experiences and skills:
- Valid NSW Driving Instructor Licence
- Willingness to obtain TfNSW Safer Drivers Course (min module 2) accreditation
- Willingness to obtain Older Driver Assessment qualifications when eligible (requires 3 years of driving instructor experience)
- Valid NSW C class Driver’s Licence
- Valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
- Passion and dedication to help our learner drivers become protected and independent drivers
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to exude empathy and patience in all interactions
- The ability to drive NRMA products and positive reviews through a need based selling approach
- Excellent communication with the ability to effectively engage with a broad spectrum of individuals spanning differing demographics to levels of driving confidence
- Exceptional understanding and adherence to NSW road rules and regulations
- Effective diary management and a strong work ethic, able to tightly manage time and optimise schedule to service customers
- Ability to confidently adapt to various customer learning styles, needs and preferences
- A team player with a strong work ethic who is flexible and willing to adapt and grow with business demand and requirements Desirable qualifications
- Facilitation skills (willingness to undergo Cert IV Training and Assessment during employment)
