Machine Operator (Greenacre)

Salary range is from $70,000
- $80,000 commensurate with experience and skill levels.

We are a family-owned company who manufacture and supply chilled and frozen meal solutions to Australian supermarkets and food service operators. Our established and rapid paced facilities are looking for full time Machine Operators with vacancies available on a range of shifts.

You would be responsible for operating stationary machines to process, manufacture, treat and finish a range of products. The role will encompass the following tasks and duties:

- Ensure all tasks, activities and duties are completed in accordance with all safe work operations. Report any incidents, near miss and hazards
- Ensure all PPE is worn at all times
- Undertake tasks to ensure the effective operation, preventative maintenance and asset care of the machine
- Follow all company policies, procedures and operating procedures
- Ensure the work area Meets Company housekeeping requirements at all times
- Set-up, operate and monitor machines to ensure output meets operational requirements
- Undertake troubleshooting and fault finding tasks to minimise machine down time
- Operate machine in accordance with identified OEE and service level requirements
- Complete, record and submit a number of safety checks and audits such as pre-op safety checks, safety start-ups, GMP checks and audits
- Ensure the machine hygiene is maintained in accordance with GMP practices
- Records performance of machinery on OEE and Downtime data sheet provided
- Undertakes all duties as requested by team manager
- Report to team manager/maintenance if there is any breakdown or abnormalities in the equipment

You will require the following requisite skills and experience:

- AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
- At least 1 year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification listed above
