Are you a creative and detail-oriented designer with a passion for retail? Join our dynamic national support office team based in Chullora as a **Retail Development Designer** and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our retail spaces!

**About the Role**: As a Retail Development Designer, you will be an integral part of our project management team, responsible for preparing design and certification documentation for recent stores and renovations. You will support our Retail Project Managers and Design team with various project tasks, ensuring our retail spaces are both functional and visually appealing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design Documentation**: Prepare in-house design documentation for current and refurbished retail and warehouse projects.
- **Project Support**: Assist Project Managers with design-related tasks and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- **Compliance**: Coordinate and prepare Development Applications (DA), Complying Development Consent (CDC), and Occupation Certificate (OC) documentation.
- **Visual Merchandising**: Integrate visual merchandising furniture and fixtures layouts into design projects.
- **Safety Culture**: Promote and embed a safety culture within the team, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

**What We're Looking For**:

- **Experience**: Approximately 3 years in a similar design role. Current qualification in Architecture/Building Design/Drafting.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in CAD and MS Office and Adobe Illustrator software, solid knowledge of DA, CDC, and OC processes, and a good awareness of relevant legislation (WHS, BCA, NCC).
- **Attributes**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team.
- **Eye for detail**: Maintain and update internal business records to ensure all sides documents (plans and project related documentation) is up to date.
