**Who are looking for**: Due to the ongoing growth of our business, Bakers Maison is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our Croissant Production Line **on a permanent full-time basis**to work **Monday to Friday from 7am-3pm.**
This role will be an essential member of the Bakers Maison Australia Production leadership team, ensuring highest standards of both Work, Health & Safety for staff, along with ensuring impeccable Food Safety and Quality standards are upheld across our manufacturing environment.
The Production Supervisor (Croissant) is a vital role that will work collaboratively with our overall Production team and other Production Line areas to meet Production schedules and outputs in a timely manner.
**The duties of the role will include**:
- Ensure production runs as per the planned schedule, utilising manpower allocations to meet output targets and quality standards.
- Production baking across all key process functions (mixing, proving, ovens etc).
- Implementing and monitoring production strategies, policies and plans, monitoring of costs to drive cost efficiency.
- Controlling the expected outcomes of production quality procedures.
- Be very experienced and work to food safety standards, including GMP and overseeing product quality and control.
- Ensures team compliance with occupational health and safety standards and regulations.
- Informing other Managers about production matters and identify potential process improvements to optimise productivity where possible.
- Controlling the preparation of production records and reports.
- Coordinating the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements.
- Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance.
- Adhere to safe work health and safety practices, reporting any hazards or incidents.
- Following of recipe requirements and operation of production line equipment.
- Identifying and reporting issues with equipment and products, liaising with other Production Managers, Quality Assurance Managers.
- Coordinates maintenance and repair of plant and equipment to prevent production delays.
- Ensure production staff are effectively deployed at their designated positions.
- Manage all production personal movements during the designated shift while ensuring company policies and procedures are properly maintained by the staff.
- **Qualifications we are looking for**:_
- MBA, Bachelors Degree or Business Diploma demonstrating financial acumen.
- Certificate III/IV in Baking (required)
- Minimum 1-10 years in Food manufacturing environment as Team Line Leader or Supervisor.
- Experience in WHS and managing large and complex teams.
- Compliance, and food safety within a bakery production environment, preferably pastry/croissants experience.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, SQF and food industry regulatory standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal teams and customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in Employment Hero (employee rostering).
