As a Project Support Services Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting exciting projects, events, and initiatives that make a real difference across the community. In this wide-ranging and rewarding role, you’ll provide high‑level administrative and project coordination support across a diverse portfolio including Libraries, Arts & Culture, Meals on Wheels, Diversity & Inclusion, and Children & Youth services. You’ll help bring community programs and events to life, assist with grant applications and funding processes, and contribute to the smooth delivery of essential services. - Support the planning and delivery of engaging community projects, programs, and events
- Assist with grant applications, funding submissions, and reporting to secure community initiatives
- Provide high‑level administrative and project support across multiple service teams
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, logistics, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and maintain accurate project records and databases
- Drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes, supporting budgets, procurement, and compliance activities including Working with Children Checks

- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, Community Services, or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of grant writing and funding processes
- Experience supporting or coordinating community‑focused projects or events
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse teams
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence to a professional standard
- Familiarity with budgeting and procurement processes (e.g., raising purchase orders, invoice reconciliation)
- Experience using digital collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) Salary range for this opportunity starts at $82,701 (Grade F, Step1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience. What’s On Offer
