We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Officer to join our Animal Operations department on a full-time basis. You will be based at our Yagoona Shelter and report to the Customer Care Supervisor. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and accurate advice in animal care.
- Coordinate adoption and surrender processes with precise documentation.
- Manage cruelty complaints and escalation urgent cases to Inspectorate.
- Maintain accurate records through administrative tasks including daily banking.
- Ensure animals are properly identified upon receipt.
- Streamline communication for consistent messaging and address process gaps.
- Audit and analyse processes to enhance effectiveness.
- Engage in project management activities and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Support the WHS management system through personal leadership. Position Requirements:
- Unrestricted driver's licence.
- Experience in customer service and animal handling.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Certificate II in Animal Care or equivalent preferred. Recruitment Requirements:
