Both experienced operators and recent tertiary graduates in the manufacturing, chemical engineering or chemistry fields are encouraged to apply. The Role As a Bulk Batch Production Compounder, you'll work in an experienced team as one of the craftspeople behind our premium products, responsible for the precise mixing and blending of hair care, personal care, and household cleaning products. This hands-on role offers the perfect blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:
- Batch Manufacturing Excellence: Prepare and mix materials according to exact specifications, ensuring every product meets our ISO quality standards
- Precision Processing: Handle industrial batches typically 500kg to 5000kg, working with both cold and hot process formulations.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control duties including sample collection, labelling and coordinating product testing
- Technical Monitoring: Monitor and adjust timing, mixing speeds and temperature levels to maintain optimal production conditions
- Documentation: Maintain accurate batch records and documentation in compliance with GMP standards
- Equipment Management: Prepare, operate, clean and maintain plant equipment according to SOPs and safety protocols
- Facility Maintenance: Contribute to general facility maintenance and housekeeping to ensure a safe, efficient workplace Essential Requirements:
- The ability to work full time in Australia; Australian Residency or Citizenship
- Solid mathematical and literacy skills with good attention to detail
- Physical capability to handle industrial-scale manufacturing processes This hands-on role means any technical experience batch manufacturing in GMP environments (cosmetic/pharmaceutical) or in related backgrounds such as food, cosmetics, industrial or the chemical industries will also be highly regarded.
