Hands‑on Electrical Engineer wanted for a temp‑to‑perm opportunity with a national industry leader — day shift, factory‑based role paying $65/hr + super! Fuse Recruitment are currently sourcing for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client’s Greenacre manufacturing site. This is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity offering a strong hourly rate, consistent day shift hours, and the chance to work on high‑profile projects across some of Australia’s most iconic venues. Who will you be working with? You’ll be joining a national leader in Audio Visual systems, lighting, and production communications, supplying solutions to major sporting venues, theatres, performing arts centres, public precincts, and corporate facilities across Australia. - Day shift: 7:00am – 3:06pm

- Supportive and experienced engineering team Responsibilities
- Design, develop, repair, and commission industrial control cabinets (relays, PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, motor drives)
- Build, test, and commission electrical control boxes to required specifications
- Conduct functional testing to ensure performance, safety, and compliance
- Support production, installation, and commissioning activities alongside the Senior Electrical Engineer
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including schematics, specifications, and test results
- Read and interpret client, consultant, and mechanical specifications
- Provide technical support to service technicians and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety regulations
- Assist with troubleshooting, breakdowns, and site support when required
- Support quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in an Electrical Engineering role
- Experience designing, repairing, and commissioning industrial control cabinets
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, and VSDs
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical, and Altium Designer
- Circuit design and analysis experience
- Solid technical troubleshooting skills
- Experience preparing technical documentation and schematics
- Understanding of Australian electrical standards and codes
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
