- Available to you will be working a 9-day fortnight with RDOs every second week

**Find a career that matters and lasts**: As an Indigenous Relationships Advisor you will help build strong connections with First Nations communities. This role is key to fostering positive relationships with Traditional Owners and other First Nations stakeholders.

In this role you will;
- Deliver a coordinated regional approach to First Nations engagement, ensuring broad community involvement and sustainable relationship development
- Develop and implement strategies such as Powerlink’s Indigenous Participation Framework in collaboration with stakeholders
- Establish and strengthen mutually beneficial relationships with regional First Nations stakeholders and organisations
- Identify and promote opportunities for First Nations participation in training, employment, and subcontracting
- Provide advice, guidance, and training to staff on managing relationships with First Nations people respectfully

**The community you will join**: CopperString 2032 is the largest ever economic development project in North Queensland, and one of the largest expansions to the power grid in Australia.

The CopperString project will build 840 kilometres of transmission line from just south of Townsville in the Burdekin region to Mount Isa with the highest voltage levels in the state.

**Your expertise**:

- Degree level qualifications in business or social sciences or substantial relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to build robust relationships with Aboriginal Parties and government departments, and ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with traditional land owners, and community groups
- Demonstrated ability to provide expert advice to stakeholders on a diverse range of cultural heritage, Native Title, and landholder issues
