Machine Operator - Pm Shift Food Manufacturing (Banyo)

As a result, we are looking for experienced Machine Operators to join our production team based at our facility in Banyo. The primary responsibility of the role is to efficiently operate equipment in our Low Risk Cookhouse department, manage day to day tasks and ensure smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards. **Description**: **Key Responsibilities Iclude**:

- Machine Operation
- Mixing/marinating of product, oven, Abco/Lyco
- Machine Operation
- Vemag (preparation of product for cooking)
- Ensure the line is ready for start-up then complete and sign off check sheets
- Follow production schedules and instructions
- Ensure the line is set up with appropriate level of ingredients
- Conduct regular quality checks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) throughout the run
- Troubleshoot any issues with machine as necessary
- Remove waste from the line as needed
- Ensure the line is regularly cleaned and maintained
- Conduct changeover and clean requirements as needed

Skills/Competencies Required
- Machine operator experience in the FMCG industry with prior experience in food manufacturing highly regarded
- You have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Excellent communication, literacy and numerical skills
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to accurately complete documents for compliance
- Ability to troubleshoot minor issues
- You can work in a cold environment
- our factory is maximum 8 degrees Celsius
- Ability to work as part of the team

**Shift Time**:

- Permanent full-time position
- 1pm to 9.06pm
