About the Opportunity Humero Recruitment Partners are partnering with an engineering services organisation to recruit a Finance Manager for a permanent, full-time role based at Brisbane Airport. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant ready to take the next step in their career. You'll step into a broad and hands-on role with genuine ownership of the finance function within a dynamic, project-driven business. The Role Reporting to senior leadership, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance function, delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting commercial decision-making, and ensuring compliance across the business. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact and grow with the organisation. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close processes including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and deliver accurate management reporting and financial statements
- Manage statutory compliance obligations including BAS, payroll tax, and FBT
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management activities
- Lead and develop a small finance team while business partnering with operational stakeholders About You
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Financial Accountant, or Financial Accountant ready to step up
- Strong technical accounting knowledge across reporting, compliance, and month-end processes
- Experience within engineering, construction, or project-based environments highly regarded
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage and influence operational stakeholders What's on Offer
