**Position: Sales Assistant at Archies Footwear**

**Role and Responsibilities**: As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer experiences and promoting the benefits of Archies Footwear products. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Customer Engagement**: Greet and engage with customers warmly. Provide detailed product information, emphasizing the orthopedic benefits and unique features of our footwear.
- **Sales Processing**: Efficiently process sales transactions, handle cash, and operate our point-of-sale system (Shopify). Aim to meet and exceed sales targets.
- **Stock Management**: Conduct regular stock takes, monitor inventory levels, and assist with restocking shelves to ensure product availability.
- **Customer Service**: Prioritize customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and concerns, and helping customers find the perfect fit.
- **Store Maintenance**: Keep the shop organized, clean, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience.
- **Product Knowledge**: Continuously expand your knowledge of our product range, features, and benefits to assist customers effectively.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional verbal communication skills to engage customers and clearly convey product information.
- **Confidence**: Comfort in approaching customers, addressing queries, and offering assistance.
- **Positive Attitude**: A friendly and enthusiastic demeanor to create a welcoming shopping environment.
- **Retail Experience**: Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is highly regarded.
- Training will be provided._

**Shifts Available**:

- Tuesday 10-6 PM
- Thursday 10-6 PM
- Friday 10-6PM

**Hourly Rate**: We offer competitive casual rates for our Sales Assistants:

- Weekdays: $**32.06** per hour

**Start Date**: immediately

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $32.06
- $44.89 per hour

Expected hours: 18
