Machine Operator/ Rollformer - Day and Afternoon (Northgate)

Machine Operator

- Permanent, Full Time (38 hours per week + overtime opportunities)
- DAY SHIFT: 6AM to 2.15PM
- AFTERNOON SHIFT: 2PM to 10.15PM
- Northgate, Brisbane

Queensland Sheet Metal is a sheet metal manufacturing company that produces roofing and rainwater goods. The company is looking for full time machine operators to work in the Rollforming Department and working with the rainwater operators in the warehouse.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Excellent work ethic with attention to detail
- Reliable and with valuable communication
- Forklift licence
- Experience with (including gutter machines, slitting lines, sheet metal machines) or Flashing machines an advantage The machine operator will work Monday to Friday, from 6.00AM
- 2.15pm and Afternoon Shift 2pm
- 10.15pm. The role involves working both as a solo operator or in a small team at various times. A multifaceted position the role includes:

- Receipting orders (paperwork)
- Programming the machines computer to produce necessary products
- Time managing jobs to produce efficiencies in producing products
- Checking work/recognising colours and lengths
- Shifting coils via forklift to machine or by overhead crane

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Northgate, QLD 4013: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Machine operating: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
