Finance Business Partner - Nudgee

**About the role**

Mercy Community Services are on the search for an experienced **Finance Business Partner** to join our team on a **Permanent Full-Time** basis. This role will be based at our **Nudgee** corporate office.
- The primary purpose of this role is to provide strategic financial management and operational decision support to the Community Services (CS) Portfolio and its key stakeholders. This includes delivering accurate and insightful management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, performing detailed variance analysis to guide strategic planning, enhancing and streamlining financial accounting processes, supporting the planning and implementation of financial systems, and leading process improvements to optimise business outcomes and ensure compliance with statutory obligations._

**Salary commensurate with experience plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available**

This role entails but not limited to
- Prepare monthly management accounts for the CS Portfolio, including planning, consultation, and review
- Compile monthly financial divisional commentary, incorporating KPIs and performance metrics for Board reports
- Assist with the completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations for the Division, adhering to the group timetable
- Maintain accurate accounting documentation to meet audit requirements
- Participate in the continuous improvement of budget and planning cycles

**About you**

As the successful applicant, you will possess:

- CPA / CA qualification
- Tertiary degree in accounting or other finance related field
- Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in accounting or finance related field
