Machine Operator (Am Shift) - Food Manufacturing (Banyo)

As a result, we are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our production team from Monday 13th January 2025 based at our facility in Banyo. They will manage day to day tasks and ensure smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards. **Description**: We are looking for people who work best in a hands-on role, enjoy working as part of a diverse team but have the capacity to also work autonomously. We have the below shift available permanent full time Monday to Friday:

- Morning Shift
- 6am to 2.06pm

What will you be doing? **High-Risk Components B
- Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Machine Operation
- Packaging of cooked/chilled products
- Machine Operation
- Slicing and dicing of cooked products
- Machine Operation
- Xray
- Detraying of cooked/chilled products
- Stock control/ temp control of completed components, ready for assembly
- Complete and sign off check sheets
- Follow production schedules and instructions
- Conduct regular quality checks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) throughout the run
- Troubleshoot any issues with machine as necessary
- Conduct changeover and clean requirements as needed

Skills/Competencies Required
- Machine operator experience in the FMCG industry with prior experience in food manufacturing highly regarded
- You have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced workplace
- Excellent communication, literacy and numerical skills
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to accurately complete documents for compliance
- Ability to troubleshoot minor issues
- You can work in a cold environment
- our factory is maximum 8 degrees Celsius
- Ability to work as part of the team
