Machine Operator (Brisbane Airport)

We're looking for reliable and process-driven Machine Operators to join a 24/7 manufacturing operation currently going through significant operational growth. This is a long-term opportunity located within minutes of the Brisbane Airport.

- 4 on 4 off rotating roster (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)
- 12-hour shift roster (6am-6pm & 6pm-6am)
- Cross-training opportunities across multiple areas of production Many operators are typically earning between $85,000 and $100,000 per annum, depending on their attendance and bonus eligibility.

What you'll be doing

- Monitor and operate PVC extrusion machinery
- Conduct hourly dimensional and quality checks
- Package finished product
- Ad hoc forklift operation and material handling
- Monitor production flow and identify issues proactively
- Assist with general production and process duties This role is less about running around all shift and more about consistency, concentration and staying switched on within a structured manufacturing environment.

What you'll need to be successful


- Manufacturing or machine operating experience
- Desire to join a team with a longer-term outlook
- Calm, practical and process-focused / detail oriented mindset
- Consistent and efficient approach to your work
- Solid attendance record What you must have to apply

- Valid High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)
- Valid Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
- Ability to live and work in Australia long-term
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operating facility including day and night shifts
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays, as per roster Experience within manufacturing, production, extrusion, plastics, steel or process-driven environments will be highly regarded.
