Mechanical Engineering Technician (Banyo)

**Cosmic Group Services Pty Ltd** are currently seeking an experienced, full time Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team.

**Duties include;**

Assisting Mechanical Engineers and associated personnel in assembly and installation of engineering solutions for our clients

Working safely, efficiently using appropriate processes, tools and equipment

Scoping tasks, estimating job costs, scheduling and executing the task to the required safety, quality, engineering standards as defined by contractual arrangements and systems.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.

Ensuring all required quality data is measured, recorded and analysed

Implementing preventive and preventative maintenance programs within the client’s plant.

Interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications to distinguish suitable materials, method and machine settings to complete works effectively

Estimating project material costs and quantities, and machine requirements

Erecting, overhauling and repairing mechanical and power equipment

Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
