Senior Project Controller - APAC (Banyo)

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced, passionate hands-on Senior Project Controller who will oversee and lead all project finance activities across all our APAC projects. - Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring accuracy in balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
- Analysis of variations in budgets and taking appropriate actions
- Drive project cash flow optimisation, revenue realisation, and gross margin contribution in collaboration with the Project Management function
- Prepare daily cashflow updates and project spend summaries
- Gathering and input data into databases and assist with spreadsheet preparation for projects
- Prepare month end journals, accruals, and project WIP reporting
- Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and procurement to resolve discrepancies
- Provide financial analysis and reporting
- Prepare advice and recommendations for key project decisions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and project control within the APAC and Global Finance Team About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, ACA, or CIA qualification preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in project finance, operational finance, or financial controlling
- Robust expertise in project accounting, financial modelling, and risk management
- Exposure to finance management in APAC would be favourable
- An advanced level of the MS Office suite of products
- Experience in the renewables or resources industry would be looked upon favourably but is not essential
- Ability to build relationships, strong attention to detail, high integrity, and ability to communicate with wide ranging stakeholders in a fast-paced changing environment This is a rare opportunity to join a new and growing industry.
