Nudgee Part Time Nanny

**Start Date**: March 2025 **Contract Term**: Ongoing, permanent ideally (12-month initial commitment) **Pay**: $35
- $45 per hour (pending experience)

**Days Hours**: 2 or 3 days per week (can be flexible between 2 or 3 days depending on your availability) **Wednesday Friday**: 9:00 AM 4:00 PM (start time can be adaptable if needed)

**About the Role**: The nanny will be responsible for caring for and engaging with the child, supporting a structured daily routine that includes educational play, outdoor activities, and nutritious meal preparation. Light housekeeping tasks are also appreciated but not the top priority.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with morning snack and preparation for the day
- Engage in reading, play, and developmental activities before nap time
- Oversee nap routine, ensuring a calm and soothing environment
- Prepare meals for the the little girl (nutritious and varied)
- Take the child for outdoor activities in the yard or local park
- Tidy the nursery and assist with light household tasks during nap time
- Support a positive attachment and foster learning through play

**About You**: The family is looking for someone who is:

- Patient, nurturing, and empathetic
- Genuinely invested in early childhood development
- Experienced in caring for young children
- Comfortable with structured routines and play-based learning
- Engaged and interactive, encouraging curiosity and exploration

**Requirements**:

- At least 2+ years experience working with children
- Childcare qualifications required
- Driver s license required (2024 Outlander GSR provided for work use)
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Comfortable around dogs (the family has a Labrador, no pet care required)

**Additional Notes**:

- There are no formalised activities yet, but the nanny will be expected to take the child to the park and outdoor spaces
- Light housework (tidying nursery, preparing meals, general upkeep) would be appreciated
