Your Current Role

As the result of increased demand for our services and company growth, we have exciting opportunities for Catering Assistants to join our skilled Catering team, initially on a casual basis located at Brisbane Airport. Here at Gate Gourmet, we take extreme pride in the work we do. We have a unique service offering for our clients and work within the airline catering industry.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Portioning and packaging meals according to specifications

Measuring quantities of food items according to specifications

General kitchen duties as required

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills:

Attention to detail

Ability to follow and adhere to processes

Some experience in food preparation

Familiarity with food safety principles

Working knowledge of OH&S;

Available to work a 7-day rotating roster (including public holidays, weekends, morning or afternoon shifts)
