Downer are looking for an enthusiastic Safety Advisorto actively support, coach, mentor and provide technical advice to internal stakeholders across our Queensland Transport & Infrastructure operations. Based out of Brisbane Airport, this energetic role offers a blend of site-based and office exposure, with a strong focus on fostering collaboration to achieve our Safety objectives, while also contributing to business innovation. WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Certificate 4 Work Health and Safety minimum.

Exposure to civil road maintenance or construction (desirable).

ICAM Lead Incident Investigation (desirable).

Experience conducting audits and preparation of corrective actions and reports.

Participated in high level incident investigations.

Flexible with working night shift when required.

Ability to positively influence change and communicate effectively with multiple types of stakeholders.

High level of problem solving with the ability to professionally navigate complex situations.

Solid computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation.
