Airmech is establishing a dedicated Brisbane Service Division and is seeking a high-performing Senior Service Technician who wants to play a key role in building and leading our Brisbane operation. We are looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, values strong customer relationships, and is motivated by the opportunity to transition into management and business leadership. About the Opportunity Initially, this role will combine field-based technical work with leadership responsibilities, allowing you to remain connected to customers, technicians, and site operations while developing the skills required to become a successful Service Manager or Account Manager. As our Brisbane division grows, the role will progressively evolve into a leadership-focused position responsible for customer relationships, team performance, service delivery, business development, and operational excellence. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond being a technician and build a long-term career in management. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level technical service and support across commercial HVAC systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
- Manage service delivery to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Support and mentor technicians through training, coaching, and technical guidance
- Prepare estimates, quotations, and service proposals
- Identify opportunities for additional works and account growth
- Assist in planning and developing the Brisbane Service Division
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers while maintaining exceptional service standards Essential Requirements
- Current QBCC Licence
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Construction Industry White Card
- Working with Children Blue Card
- Extensive experience servicing commercial HVAC systems
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities
- Sound understanding of safety, compliance, and industry regulations Highly Desirable
- Experience leading or supervising technicians
- Experience estimating, quoting, and managing service projects
- Exposure to account management or customer relationship management
- Commercial awareness and business development capability
