Electrical Engineering Technician (Bassendean)

Eilbeck Cranes is seeking to employ an **Electrical Engineering Technician**, to join our team based in **Perth, WA**.

**About the job**:

- Analyse the performance of assemblies and electrical components.
- Assist engineers with electrical engineering research.
- Design, install and maintain electrical control and systems.
- Test, calibrate and repair electrical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose electrical system faults.
- Preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry.
- Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems.
- Estimating materials costs and quantities of crane parts and electrical system upgrades when required.
- Inspecting crane designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Testing electrical equipment and installations to conform to regulations and safety requirements.
- Undertaking electrical workshop functions such as installing.
- Ensure that work is performed within agreed times and to an acceptable standard ensuring all work complies with Australian standards.

Pay: $40-$50 per hour

**Qualifications**:

- Engineering qualification
- Previous experience with overhead cranes would be an advantage
