**We offer a full-time position for a** **SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGER**

**Starting date: Immediately**

**About the role**:

- monitoring and reviewing stock levels to guarantee the supply of baked products according to invoices/packing slips
- communicating directly with the production manager to guarantee that required stock/products for daily deliveries are available
- monitoring stock levels and ordering packaging materials and consumables
- supervising distribution staff and monitoring their performance
- implementing weekly staff rosters for the distribution department
- keeping track of stock levels in dry storage, cool rooms, and freezers through the checklists
- implementing daily run sheets for transportation/delivery drivers
- briefing and monitoring transportation staff
- ensure compliance measures are met within set standards

for HACCP and food safety
- ensuring distribution area is constantly kept to set hygienic standards
- briefing and monitoring checklists concerning the distribution area
- liaising with suppliers and implementing strategies to maintain required stock levels for production
- communicating directly with clients aiming to meet their delivery requirements in the best way possible
- maintaining transportation schedules to ensure an efficient outcome
- reporting directly to company management

**Applicant requirements**:

- Applicants must have supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- Relevant education, qualifications, or industry experience relating to logistics, procurement, or supply chain.
- Should show the ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills
- Understand Food Safety systems and follow procedures accordingly
