Human Resources Coordinator (12 Month Maternity (Malaga)

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to cover a 12 -month maternity leave position with Powertech Pty Ltd, a energetic and innovative organisation based in our Malaga, WA office. As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will work closely with the Human Resources Manager and the broader HR team to support our employees and the company's overall goals.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Working with the Powertech Talent Portal (ELMO) to manage employee data, provide HR reports and maintain accuracy of employee records.
- Managing the training schedule for our Apprentices including scheduling, tracking, and reporting on progress to meet the demands of our business.
- Reviewing and amending Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.
- Supporting recruitment activities during high volume recruitment periods.
- Assisting with HR-related projects as required.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service to employees and managers.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- A relevant degree or diploma in Human Resource Management
- Graduates to be considered, preference of at least 2-3 years of experience in a HR coordinator role
- Experience in recruitment desirable
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources employment laws and best practices
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
