Warehouse Officer | LF & MR Licence Required (Malaga)

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Officer for an upcoming contract role supporting large-scale power and mining operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory control, supporting site operations, and ensuring all materials—including dangerous goods and hazardous substances—are managed in line with legislative and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, transport, and issue materials across site operations
- Process receipts and issues using warehouse inventory systems (Ellipse/Pulse or similar)
- Verify part numbers, descriptions, and specifications against purchase orders and supplier documentation
- Safely unload trucks and assist with fuel and chemical tanker deliveries
- Ensure compliant storage of materials, including dangerous goods
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies or damaged inventory
- Maintain accurate bin locations and inventory records within systems
- Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties, including pallet and label maintenance
- Prepare goods for dispatch and coordinate transport and courier services
- Undertake transport duties using pool or stores vehicles when required
- Liaise with operational, maintenance, and procurement teams
- Support stock coding, reporting, and inventory investigations About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- Current MR Truck Licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience in heavy industry, mining, or large-scale operations
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office + ERP systems preferred)
- Experience with Ellipse or Pulse systems (advantageous)
- Robust literacy and numeracy skills
- Understanding of WHS legislation and safe work practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks in a physically demanding environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy in stock control Desirable:
- Exposure to mining or heavy industrial environments
- Experience handling dangerous goods
- Ability to operate manual vehicles Additional Requirements
- Ability to complete an Order 43 or equivalent mine site medical
- Willingness to complete all required site inductions and compliance checks
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards
