Cleaner (Town of Bassendean)

We are seeking to establish a pool of cleaners for permanent and fixed‑term, full‑time and part‑time vacancies during the 2026 school year up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Eden Hill Primary School provides a comprehensive, inclusive curriculum that includes dance, music, Italian and visual arts for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Role The Cleaner, under the general supervision of the Cleaner in Charge/Senior Cleaner in Charge, is responsible for a range of internal and external cleaning duties. The role includes maintaining carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning toilets, furniture, fittings and windows, dusting and rubbish removal, as well as vacation cleaning tasks such as stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets and pressure‑cleaning verandas. The Cleaner also reports faults, maintenance issues and incidents to the designated supervisor, ensuring that schools are cleaned and maintained in compliance with Department and occupational safety standards.
