Horticulturalist (Batemans Bay)

About the role Permanent full‑time position with the Botanic Gardens team at the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens. The successful candidate will ensure the living collection is maintained and developed to a high standard suitable for a significant scientific and community resource. Key responsibilities Maintain and operate small plant and garden equipment, keep accurate records, use databases to support day‑to‑day operations, and collaborate with staff, community members and volunteers to support collection development. Location Batemans Bay, New South Wales. People requirements
- Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in horticulture and a passion for Current South Wales South Coast flora.
- Comfortable using small plant and garden equipment.
- Accurate record‑keeping and database usage skills.
- Strong communication skills with staff, community and volunteers.
- Experience working with volunteers is highly valued. Benefits
