Civil Engineering Draftsperson (Bathurst)

Calare Civil Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our expanding team. The position is on a full-time basis in our Bathurst office, best suited to an organised draftsperson who is detail-driven and enjoys a variety of challenging drafting projects. With offices located in Bathurst and Lithgow, Calare Civil Pty Ltd operates in the Central West providing industrial, commercial, agricultural and residential developments across Australia. DUTIES The successful applicant will be able to competently perform the following essential duties:
· Preparing engineering drawings and interpreting designs specifications and ensuring drafting accuracy
· Develops technical layouts and construction diagrams for infrastructure projects
· Produces accurate plans using AutoCAD and other engineering design programs
· Revises engineering drawings and project documents
· Coordinates with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy
· Prepares 2D and 3D models to support planning and construction activities QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma highly relevant to civil engineering drafting and at least one year of fulltime experience.
· For an experienced draftsperson, at least three years of relevant experience may substitute the above formal qualifications ABOUT YOU We are seeking a motivated and meticulous draftsperson who is passionate about civil engineering drafting, seeking the chance to work on complex and diverse design drafting, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. This is a full-time position with an average 38 hours per week, located in Bathurst NSW. The salary range is $75,000
