We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Painter to join our dynamic team! Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 per annum Role: Full time Location: Bathurst, NSW Main Duties:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes and cracks, and repairing woodwork before painting.
- Remove old paint and wallpaper and apply sealants or undercoats as needed.
- Mix and prepare paints to match required colours and finishes.
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains, or protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
- Cover furniture, floors, and other areas with drop sheets to protect them from paint splatter.
- Hang wallpaper and ensure proper pattern matching and trimming.
- Clean and maintain painting tools, brushes, rollers, and equipment.
- Repair or repaint interior and exterior surfaces to maintain quality finishes.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, neatly, and within deadlines. Skills & Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Painting and Decorating qualification required.
- Minimum year of proven painting experience.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to follow safety standards and maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must hold a valid Australian Driving License.
- White Card and relevant PPE required.
